在這美麗的下午我們來Jazz一下吧, 小星在印尼俱樂部準備了四首走爵士路線的歌曲, 要介紹的這個團體呢雖然他們現在已經解散了但是他們曾經在印尼爵士樂壇裡擁有不錯的位置. 今天要介紹的團體叫做The Groove. 9個成員8個男生一個女駐唱.  
Dahulu - The Groove Dahulu 以前by The Groove. 歌詞描述一對情侶, 男女朋友之間的關係開始有了變化, 以前很期待週末的到來, 每到週末就可以和你見面了. 以前一切都那麼的美好, 以前的熱情, 以前只有你和我的世界, 現在一切變成不一樣了, 你總是錯過週末, 每到週末你說你很忙, 我想這應該只是藉口, 我真的不懂, 你開始跟我保持距離, 親愛的如果你感到膩了, 如果那感覺已不存在, 告訴我吧 我想知道. 歌詞內容大概就這樣. Hanya Karena Cinta - The Groove 這一首叫做Hanya Karena Cinta只因為愛, 只因為愛歌詞描述另一半要離開, 為什麼要離開呢? 有可能是因為夢想, Chorus 的歌詞說 親愛的告訴我吧~ 你真的很想去嗎? 我會讓你走, 如果有緣, 你回來. 只因為愛我給你平靜, 只因為愛我給你原諒, 只因為愛你也許回來, 你值得永遠的等待嗎? 我覺得這些詞兒寫的很好! 1997年5月17號成軍, The Groove 出到前是在萬隆的咖啡廳駐唱, 慢慢的開始往校園表演, 最後有機會在JakJazz雅加達爵士樂的這種場合表演. 兩年之後1999年他們正式發行首長專輯. 很可惜The Groove現在好像已經解散了, 女主唱Rieka Roeslan也單飛了, 不過聽說他們還經常在一起表演. 那是非常難得的機會.

今年2008The Asian Science Camp (ASC) 從8月3號到9號在印尼巴里島舉辦, 五個Nobel 得主參與這個活動他們是 Prof. Masatoshi Koshiba (來自日本是2002 年物理Nobel 得主), Prof. 李遠哲 (來自台灣1986年化學Nobel 得主), Prof. Douglas D. Osheroff (來自美國, 1996年 物理Nobel得主), Prof. Dr. Richard Robert Ernst (來自瑞士1991年化學 Nobel得主), and Prof. David Gross (來自美國, 2004年物理 Nobel得主).
來自各個國家大概有500位學生會參與2008The Asian Science Camp "See the Future, Be the Future". 參賽者來自 Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, India, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, South Korea, China, Chinese Taipei, Kazakhstan, and Mongolia. 台灣好像派了十位代表前往參加, 來自交通大學, 台灣大學, 元智大學等等… The idea of the Asian Science Camp was co-proposed in September2005 after the 55th Annual meeting of Nobel Laureates and Students in Lindau, Germany, by Professor Yuan-Tseh Lee and Professor Masatoshi Koshiba. The proposal is aimed to enlighten science talented youths through discussions and dialogs with top scholars in the world, and promote international friendship and cooperation among best young students of the next generation in Asia.
Creative Poster Competition’為了激發學生的創意, 分組設計一個很有想法的海報. 主題一定要跟營隊期間老師的演講有關的主題. 評審會以海報內容和口頭報告給分. Question Asking Award 這個獎項為了鼓勵學生勇敢的表達自己的想法和意見並且勇敢的問問題. Problem of the Day Award 選出14位傑出表現, best analytical answers concerning the problem of the day 的學生.
