Double-Ten Celebration, also known as 雙十國慶日,  is the Independence Day of Taiwan on October 10th. There are many kind of celebrations going on for the whole week all over the country.

I'm writing this because, with a great opportunity I have, I got to take part in the celebration under supervision of the Overseas Compatroit Affairs Commission (僑委會), by accommodating some overseas chinese to the event. This is my first time, and also my last, to take part in the Double-Ten Celebration since I'm leaving Taiwan very soon. I'm really glad that I can enjoy and take part in this national festival.

I didn't manage to attend the 1st English Summer Camp organized by the International Academic Exchange Center of SHU, and still, I wasn't on the name list of the participants this year. BUT, I was in the executive team.

Arh haaa....half a loaf is better than no bread. Here I am~! I was the MC for the opening and closing ceremony. It was the FIRST time that I had to host an event without using a single Chinese word. It actually freaked me out the first day when I had to speak to 150 Taiwanese participants, 10 English native speakers from USA and Dr Robyne Tiedeman in English. That was a tough one.

But I managed to go through the trial, and everything went smoothly after that.

I got my first job after graduate. Actually it cant be considered as a real job, it's more like a case that I'm involved. Just that this case is kinda special compared with the others, cos indirectly, I'm working for the Taiwan's government. Cool right? Yea at the beginning I thought it was just a shoot-around-thing, but it turns out to be sooooo cool, tired of course, and public relation matters to deal, too.

20th June 2008 

5 years after I came to Taiwan

3 years after being a manager

69765 hits after I started this blogging

84 days after we broke up

2 weeks after I toured the Farmosa Island

10 days after I moved to a new place

4 hours after I finished my last exam in University

15 minutes after I left the school

finally....I graduated.

Ladies & Gentlemen

I'm here to tell you that....

I AM BACK!

It's been a year since I left home, and for every year I went home for only one month, not more than that. Which means that I've spent a few of my most important years and moment out there without my family and my old friends. But I share them with my new friends here indeed.

It's a little bit strange, I know. But that's life. I know I'm not a good boy cause I only called home twice a week or even once a month. It doesnt mean that I dont miss things and people back home. I DO. But that's what I have to face in real life - busy setting up my study, my job, my future.

It's kinda weird that they dont have a holiday break during the Christmas. It means that I have to go to school and get many things done. But for my surprise is that I still receive many presents from friends over. It's really touching to get gifts from friends that I didnt expect. Thank you so much to make my Christmas a sweet and colourful one.

Since I didnt really enjoy Christmas (well, there's nothing but an usual day) I'm planning to make a COUNTDOWN~~!!

It's again...heading to the midterm..but i dont have much reports & assignments to do...maybe it's because im a senior now.

It's been a busy week for me so far. I've done a lot of things and still a lot of things to be done. Typing all these is just an expression, but I have to tell you that I'm happy with this

well...it's been a while since i last came in, but i bet not many ppl will see what i write,right? doesnt matter, as a blogger one should type at least something to let ppl update right?
